I've always been interested and charmed by Alexander the Great legend since I was only a child, so I waited the movie impatiently and with a lot of thrill. I have been amazed from the introduction since the very end, included the ending titles, thanks to the amazing Vangelis soundtrack, the costumes, the take breathing battle scenes, and the actors' skills.
I can tell I've not been disappointed by Oliver Stone direction, or Colin Farrell's acting as the famous conqueror. Simply amazing! And the Final cut is more *epic* than ever!

Angelina is likely my favourite actress ever. She's very talented and seeing her in a movie is always a pleasure for the eyes *nods*, but she's also a wonderful person, ready to help people who have little to live. Read a doujisnhi is like a dream come true, just like read the actual manga with the slash pair you love. They are forms of art, like every other manga, and sometimes the drawings of doujinshis authors are better than the original author's ones. For Slam dunk this happens a lot of times, you just need to open a Yamano Yamane amazing work.

I can't tell into words how much I adore Ewan McGregor, not only for his wonderful acting skills, but as a person also. He's a brilliant actor, yes, one of the greatest of these days I should say, one of those few who can literally jump to a "simply" role to a dark, difficult one, without a defaillance.
But he's also a nice and modest person, madly in love with his non-famous wife, and, unlike the most of his colleagues, not involved in the awful show-business. That's a real good point to him. Watching BTS, interviews and the Long Way Down/Round series, you see always this friendly person, always ready to kidding, an Ewan never shy when he talks about sex and nude scenes, but really so sweet when talking about his family you'd just like to hug him. :P Plus, he just has this wonderful voice… when he sings, you could melt…!

I've been introduced in this pairing two years ago and I've long since drowned in it. There is something so unique in these two - canon speaking - that you cannot see any other pairing with the same eyes again. The way James and Spock share friendship and how much they care for each other is precious, something that you don't need to squint your eyes to see - unlike 98% of any other slash pairing around the world. They are ready to sacrifice each other's lives - be their carreers and everything related like Jim or the physical life like Spock - any moment and they are not shy to show how much they care for the other.

I heard of Deadpool before, off course, I don't remember if there was a miniseries included in a comic magazine I used to collect or maybe a simple guest-starring. I do only know I couldn't stand him. Stop. But it was years ago, and since then I've changed my likes. Lately I decided to collect all Angel appareances, and an issue of Cable & Deadpool was in order. I gave the whole series a chance and started read it: well, I completely fallen in love with the main duo, two characters I never really liked. The interaction between this two was awesome, and it took me very little time to start liking the Merc with a mouth.
I now think this is one of the best character Marvel has, and it's great he had the (second) chance to get a whole longseries, after only brief appereances and such.
And that's when I can understand only half of the things he says, since I read the series in english (few of him has been released in Italy ç_ç)...

I discovered Slam Dunk thanks to yaoi fanfictions shared by Madda. At first I was in love with stoic, cool Rukawa but when I finally got my hands on the manga I completely changed my mind.
Hanamichi is the average "stupid" main character, very similar to Naruto or Luffy (One Piece) and I usually don't love those kind of character: I always go for the bad one (Sasuke) or the stoic (Zoro). But, during the reading, you see him become more "mature", always maintaining his idiotic character. While Rukawa is a good player forged by years of training, Hana shows to be quite a genius, born for that sport, but he still is real, making all the mistaked only newbies do. Truly human, and that's why I love him: he isn't the guy who plays like an inhuman, never failing and perfect, but he's real., with his virtues and vices. :D

I'm not the biggest snakes fan out there since I'd never have the guts to keep a python as pet and probably I'd freak out if I'd find a viper in the grass (actually, that happened twice in my early school days - I hardly remember it).
But... they really intrigue me, I cannot deny it. I love surfing for snakes images, and I squee like a fangirl when looking at cobras documentaries: I'm just here trying to jump into the screen to -ehrm- caress such tender muzzles! They're soo elegant with their sensual moves, like some kind of princes in the reptiles world, while their eyes are simply ipnotic: their just gorgeous.

I love this movie, really: I risk to fall of the chair laughing every time I have the bad idea to rewatch it because it's too much hilarous for every human being!
Not only the very idea of our favourite crew ending up in a "wild" San Francisco isn't enough, Kirk and Spock especially have this disturbingly chemical during the whole travel almost playing the "old married couple".
And Kirk gets his new Lady (and I don't mention doctor Gilian, off course) to command after saying good bye to the original one in the previous installment. ♥

What to say about this Jim? He's the exact opposite of the average hero. He drives cars off cliffs, picks fights while drunken and cheats a non-winning test because he's annoyed that the test can't be beaten. But he's also the one who riskes his neck like four times in the same day, by jumping into space withot a chute to save someone just met, enraging a Vulcan (twice) and then headbutting with a Romulan (actually, many times). He's made the whole "leap without looking" an art, and in the end this habit of his saves the day and gets him the Enterprise!
He's an idiot, but a idiot with a heart, when he feels genuinely sorry for the Vulcan who had previously rubbed on his face his father's death or believes a stranger claiming to be future-Spock with a degree that should be illegally disturbing.
Yes, I love this Kirk: he's so different from the original but, in the end, they are more similar than one would want to acwknowledge.

I watched this movie after a marathon of The Original Series (actually my first time with it) so I had in mind how the character were to be and, especially, how the relationship between Captain and First Officer was. Watching the movie, with the two fighting like two bulls was... strange (although I love the movie to death) but, even in this "I-can't-stand-you" sort of rivalry the first sparks of the epic relationship that (hopefully) will be are starting to fire: the scene in the Jellyship, when Jim demands Spock to have trust in him and in the end Spock lets himself being convinced, the way Jim search for Spock after the Black Hole scene and Spock nods him and then when Spock finally joins the crew, the respect they show for eachother.
I can't wait to see (if, hopefully) the new franchise develop the story to have them reach the "friendship that will define them both".

Jim has been love at first sight since the first time I've been dragged into the Star Trek fandom by those evil girls that are Dragon eyes and Saya. What I love about him is that he's not your average hero and he never pretends to be one, though in the end he is a hero and saves the day too much times. He's boisterous, impulsive, strategist and fallible. He's not perfect and, as Spock would say, illogical, with outbursts of emotions that make him 'human', from anger to sadness and love.
He's loved by his crew for these and many other qualities, and there is a reason if he's one of the most admired fictional characters ever seen on tv. :D
He is one of my favourite characters ever so I'm very, very happy to have his fanlisting.

What's great about Anakin is that he's a real, complex hero whom, unlike most of the movie heroes we see on screen, is *human* in the first place. Every emotion that fills him, every fear he feels and even the anger and hatred he shows during his life aren't masked or suppressed - making him a very real man in a world where half of the characters are unbelievable in their (lack of) humanity. You can totally feel like you are Anakin and you start making questions as "what would I do if I were Anakin?" and such; this doesn't happen always, with a fictional character.
He's generous, ready to put his own life at risk for the sake of helping and his whole big heart, alongside with his fears and loneliness, lead him to Palpatine first and then to the evil. As Darth Vader he's still a charming, even more interesting character full of facets, torn between his loyalty to the Dark Side and the love for the son he didn't know he still had - well, Darth Vader has a big place in my heart so I should stop myself before I write down an essay.
In short, Anakin is just one of those characters that can survive in your heart strong as ever even if you move away from the fandom - as I did in the last couple of years.

All these costumes are simply amazing and take-breathing, but the best is of course Padme's guardrobe: Trisha Biggar has done an excellent job for those, she's like the goddes of costumists! And/or simply a masochist woman! XD
I'd die if I could have the occasion to actually see them, the show who took place in Milan 2005 was very poor of Padme's costumes. But I drolled a lot on Anakin's one. XD

I discovered Trinity blood by accident, during a Cartoomics: I don't remember very well, probabily thanks to an item like a cross I saw, but I kept in mind the name Fabrica Thelogiae written on the folder to search for this manga. When I saw the actual scans of the artbook, I was O__O, and the first image I drolled was one of this silver/blond guy with the air of the bad guy... that's because I always fall in love with the villains. -.-
Anyway, when manga finally has been published here in Italy, I waited with a lot of impatience to catch him, but nothing more than an image as Abel's memory.
But, volume 9... I almost started jumping around the room, with his first and grand entrance... ahhh *dreamy*
I'm totally crazy for him, the seems-good-guy who's crazy and working for the end of the world... I can't wait to read more! x_x.

To me, X-Men would have no sense without Magnus. He's been the first and biggest villain of the mutant group.
Magnus is not simply a *villain*, he has always had the purpose of make space in the world for mutants, and avoid a new extermination like the Nazi one he endured during his childhood, he even had a lot of "fases", during his *Magneto* existence, including he trying to reedem himself with New Mutants.
Magnus is *the* mutant villain for excellence, the dark face of Charles Xavier!

Warren is my #1 kill-for! Can't say enough for making you understand how and why I love him.
He's the perfect character, for me. He's experienced, powerful, rich... and handsome, and this not hurts. :D
He's been a very lucky guy, rich and beautiful with the power to fly -when Iceman and Cycke find him, they say he's far beyond their powers *because* of the flight-, in times when there werent' flying mutants. One day he lost all the life gave him, and he got destroyed. Reborn as Death Horseman, with deathly wings, he had to deal with the deep dark of his soul. And he won, turning back to light, and to life.
He has a lot of potential, but seems few authors can deal with him properly! Only few remember if he's actually a founder member for the X-Men there's a reason for it (as Karima says in Excalibur #12)! He's also considered the best aerial fighter in the Marvel Universe, outsmarting and defeating much faster opponents like the Human Torch, Quicksilver and Iron Man.

This is my favourite couple ever of the X-Men, even more than the usual Scott/Jean. I don't have to say my favourite miniserie ever is Crimson Dawn, hm? :P
They were soo perfect, together. Both sexy, both dangerous, both in need of *heal* their souls. Both had heavy body changes, and I'm sure they were able to understand each other.
Unfortunately, they broke when Warren couldn't stand anymore Betsy flirting with a brand new X-Men, the rich Neal Shaara. Betsy, after believed to be death, returned and Warren's reaction had never been depicted. However, it took some years to the authors but finally they're back and in love as ever in Uncanny X-Force.

Sir Ian McKellen is actually the best actor who could have been chosen for this part. I mean, he seems like Magnus jumped out of the strips and became real.
His Magnus is the perfect opposite of the idealist Charles Xavier, he knows there will be a war between Sapiens and Superior, and he want make sure the Mutant side will be the winner. And I really prefer him to the ol' buddy Chuck. :P

He should have deserved more time on the screen, but the movie was all about Wolverine so I can't really complain about the amount of scenes Wade got. :P
Anyway, even though they shut his mouth too early (what a crime!), the character was enjoyable, and Ryan Reynolds portrayed him really, really well. And those slash hint like the one in the elevator scene cracked me up even more! XD
Oh, and by thw way, according to Cable & Deadpool #2: "Hey, if you looked like Ryan Reynolds crossed with a Shar-pei, you'd understand!" =))

When I was looking at the extras contents of X2 dvd I got a study of metal winged Warren, I suppose as an Arma X experiment. You can understand how I've been pissed off!
And then, the announcement, and first news: Angel would have been in the last movie. Ok, I said, let's see him. I never liked the actor, he's *not* Warren. I always imagined him played by some really handsome actor like Paul Walker or a supermodel like canadian beauty Gabriel Aubry. Yeah, Gabriel would have been the perfect choice, because it seems Warren alive! If Warren *would* have been the *comics* one, one of the first X-Men, off course.
Not some kind of guy who's trying to escape from his mutation...
Anyway... I have loved even *this* Warren... but.. he needed more space in the movie. I mean... he was in the first promo shootings, and in every trailer... I thought he'd have a very big role in the plot...
No, only some kind of cameo... *sigh*

I discovered this title by chance, trying to understand which title was related to a doujinshi seen at a Cartoomics; I don't remember exactly but the only readable word between ideograms was something that, inserted in google, made me discover this title. Anyway, the first time I read it I didn't understood the story, with the reading order somehow confusing and reading in English didn't help at all. I then bought the series from a friend of mine and finally got the chance to read it in proper Italian: the story has got some kind of sense, and I can tell it's really takebreathing, just only for the amazing artworks.
